(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No. 54, dated 09.04.2021, under Sections 384/511/120-B of IPC, Sections 67 & 67B of the IT Act, 2000 and Sections 12/14 of the POCSO Act, 2012 (added later on), registered at Police Station City Sangrur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 29th April, 2021, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined investigation.

Pursuant to order dated 05th July, 2021, short reply by way of affidavit of Satpal Sharma, PPS, DSP, Sub Division, Sangrur, on behalf of the State has been filed in Court through e-mail. Same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place. As per the reply filed, the opinion of Probation Officer has been obtained, as per which, both the accused in this case are juvenile and the alleged offences are serious in nature. Therefore, as per the Juvenile Justice Rules, JAWALA RAM 2021.07.16 16:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-18098-2021 - 2 - 2016, only a DDR was to be registered, not an FIR. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, states that the petitioner is no longer required for further interrogation. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 29th April, 2021, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
