SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners have filed this petition seeking protection of their lives and liberty. They are major and have married against the wishes of respondents No.5 to 9, who are father, brother and uncle of petitioner No. 1. Apprehending danger to their lives and liberty, they moved representations dated 3.7.2018 (Annexure P-4 and P-5) to Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali. File has been received from Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners have apprehension that they will be assaulted and maltreated by the private respondents and number of persons who have assembled out side court complex. He, as such, request that to protect life and liberty of petitioners they be sent to the Protection Home at Chandigarh. They have also made representations to Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, copies of which have been placed on file as Annexure P4 and P5. In the first session, the parties were sent to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court but they could not reach any amicable solution.

Keeping in view the threat apprehended by the petitioners to their life and liberty, they are ordered to be kept in Protection Home at Chandigarh for the time being. Direction is issued to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to keep the petitiones in the Protection Home for the time being and hand over their custody to Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali for their protection and security. CRM-M-28459 of 2018 (O&M) -2It is, however, made clear that as and when petitioners feel safe, they can request to leave the Protection Home. Respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, is directed to look into the representations dated 3.7.2018 (Annexure P-4 and P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office. Disposed of in above terms.

Copy of this order be given dasti to the petitioners under the signatures of Bench Secretary.
