H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Karamjit Singh, from Police Station Raman, Bathinda, states that after enquiry, offence under Section 3 of Prevention of Damage of Public Property Act, 1984, has since been deleted and further as the petitioner has joined the investigation and surrendered his passport, he is not required by the police for further investigation. Under these circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 31.7.2017, is made absolute, subject to fulfillment of conditions under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. In that way, the petition is allowed.
