RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.122 dated 23.08.2014 registered under Sections 304, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Sirhind, District Fetehgarh Sahib, on the basis of compromise dated 01.09.2015 (Annexure P-4s). Pursuant to order dated 04.10.2016 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 25.10.2016 to get their statements recorded. Learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.189 dated 03.11.2016 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib vide letter. No.8121/E.B. Dated 04.11.2016. According to the report, learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fetehgarh Sahib, is satisfied that compromise arrived at between the parties is voluntary in nature.
Considering the report of learned Additional District and Sessions Ravinder Singh 2018.08.02 10:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.122 dated 23.08.2014
-2CRM-M-28432 of 2016 registered under Sections 304, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Sirhind, District Fetehgarh Sahib, is hereby quashed, subject to payment of costs of `10,000/-, out of which `6,000/- shall be deposited with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority and `4,000/- with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
Petition is disposed of accordingly.
List on 24.8.2018 for production of receipt with regard to deposit of aforesaid costs.
