On 11.06.2020, the following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner prays for grant of pre-arrest bail in a criminal case arising from FIR No. 88 dated 8.5.2020 registered under Sections 447, 511, 302, 506, 120-B IPC at Police Station Dirba, District Sangrur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that Harvinder Singh @ Laddi died due to an accident. He submits that as per the allegations in the FIR, Charanjit Singh was driving a tractor with an instrument known as cultivator, used in the agricultural fields to plough the land. Harvinder Singh had died as the aforesaid cultivator attached at the rear of the tractor had pierced the forehead of the deceased. He further contends that the petitioner is not alleged to have played active role in the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2020.07.17 17:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Notice of motion.
On the asking of Court, Mr. S.P.S.Tinna, Addl. AG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State of Punjab and prays for time to seek instructions.

In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on interim bail subject to furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."
Mr. Luvinder Singh, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Gurdev Singh, has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation, co-operated and is not required for further custodial interrogation.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, interim bail granted to the petitioner on 11.06.2020 is made absolute.
