(Oral) The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (in short 'Cr.P.C.') for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect life and personal liberty of the petitioner as she is apprehending threat from her parental family members i.e. respondents No.4 to 10.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a representation was made to the Superintendent of Police Ambala, Haryana seeking necessary protection but no action has been taken in the matter.

Without commenting upon correctness or otherwise of the averments set up in the petition, petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority (Superintendent of Police Ambala, Haryana) to look into grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation (Annexure P2) and take an appropriate action, if any, warranted in the circumstances only qua protection of life and liberty of the petitioner in view of the allegations and none else. 27.01.2017 (REKHA MITTAL) yakub JUDGE
