On 28.01.2025 the following order was passed : " On 04.04.2024 none appeared on behalf of the appellant and the case was adjourned to today. Today a request for an adjournment has been made on behalf of the arguing counsel for the appellant on the ground that he is in personal difficulty though there is no adjournment slip which has been appended.

Though no ground is made out to further adjourn the matter, however, in the interest of justice, adjourned to 27.10.2025, subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- as costs to be deposited with the High Court Lawyers Welfare Fund." 2.

Today the case has been called twice. None has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant, nor the costs as imposed vide order dated 28.01.2025 have been deposited. It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 3.

Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
