H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has since deposited a sum of Rs. 1 lac. A photocopy of the receipt has been placed on the file. This fact is conceded by the learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Jagbir Singh. He further states that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation. In these circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 11.8.2017 is made absolute, subject to fulfillment of conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petition in that way is allowed.
