RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Petitioner, by way of instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeks a direction for calling the status report in FIR No.89 dated 13.3.2014 under Section 420 IPC registered at Police Station, Sector 17, Chandigarh.
During the course of hearing, when a pointed question was put to learned counsel for the petitioner, as to why the petitioner has not approached the concerned Illaqa Magistrate for the relief he is claiming in the present petition, he could not give any justification. In fact, petitioner is not without remedy.
