(ORAL) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.PC seeking directions to the official respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 09.02.2023 (Annexure P-2) for taking action against the accused and to grant protection of life and liberty to the petitioner. Notice of motion.

Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents no.1 to 3.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let this petition be disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala (District Patiala) to consider and decide the representation dated 09.02.2023 (Annexure P-2) alleged to have been submitted by the petitioner seeking protection for his life and liberty.
