MADAAN Present:- Mr. Gurmeet Singh Saini, Advocate for the petitioner. *** Under challenge in this revision petition is order dated 2.2.2023 passed by Principal Judge, Family Court, Mansa vide which an application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 filed by respondent wife Rajwinder Kaur for herself as well as for minor daughter Tanisha, aged about 8 years and his minor son Pranav Joshi, aged 6 years had been allowed and maintenance at the rate of Rs.15,000/- per month has been awarded to applicant which is payable by Ranjeet Joshi @ Ranjit Joshi who had filed a divorce petition in which the application under reference had been moved.

A perusal of the interim order goes to show that while passing the order the trial Court has given detailed reason that respondent was an able bodied person, working as a Government teacher at Talwandi Malook, District Patiala and getting salary of more than Rs.70,000/-, owning a Car and applicants are not shown to have any source of income. Under the PARVINDER SINGH 2023.04.

CR No. 2032 of 2023 2023:PHHC:052699 circumstances no fault can be found with the order granting maintenance pendente lite to applicant wife for herself and her minor children residing with her and maintenance amount of Rs.15,000/- awarded can certainly be not termed to be on higher side.

There is no merit in the revision petition. The same stands dismissed.
