(Oral) Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 27.02.2004 (Annexure P-9) and a further prayer to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Superintendent from due date i.e. 01.03.2002 and grant him all the consequential benefits.

A perusal of the file shows that there has been no representation on behalf of petitioner from the last three dates successively. Registry was directed to inform Counsel for the petitioner about the next date of hearing.

As per the report received from the office, intimation was already sent to the Counsel for the petitioner vide letter No. 3160 dated 28.01.2025. However, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is no more interested in pursuing

CWP-6940-2004 -2the present writ petition.

Dismissed for non prosecution.
