Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.39 dated 26.04.2016 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, registered at Police Station Raja Sansi, District Amritsar.

Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant appeared and contested the petition. I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that the FIR in the present case has been Vineet Gulati 2017.08.17 16:21 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh registered on the basis of the application moved by Palwinder Singh against

CRM No.M-27710 of 2017 -2present petitioner Bagga Singh, Malkeet Singh and Khazan Kaur. The property in question was allotted to Palwinder Singh on lease by Waqf Board and approval has been given to the complainant for plotting on the said land. The allegation against the present petitioner is that he forged agreement to sell by impersonating himself as Palwinder Singh and sold the land to Khazan Kaur for `3.50 lakhs.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, without discussing the facts in minute detail and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and in view of the serious allegations against the present petitioner, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
