Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.23 dated 13.02.2019 under Section 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Boha, District Mansa. Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel for the complainant appeared and contested the petition. I have heard learned counsel for the parties as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the complainant brought it to the notice of this Court that petitioner has not complied with the order dated 29.03.2019 passed by this Court, whereby, the petitioner VINEET GULATI 2019.10.14 16:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-14355 of 2019 -2was directed to pay entire amount of `86,600/- within a period of one month from that day to the complainant. Learned counsel for the complainant contended that even after more than six months, amount has not been paid. Learned counsel for the petitioner admitted that amount has not been paid by the petitioner but stated that petitioner is ready to pay the same. No cogent ground has been given as to why the order dated 29.03.2019 passed by this Court while granting interim bail, has not been complied with.

In view of the conduct of the petitioner, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
