Mr. I.P.S. Mangat, Advocate, for respondent No.2. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.0043 dated 10.04.2016 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station City Gurdaspur, on the basis of compromise.
Pursuant to the order dated 01.08.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 14.08.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gurdaspur, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.751 dated 19.08.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Gurdaspur vide letter No.14079/RKT dated 21.08.2017.
According to the report, the Chief Judicial Magistrate is satisfied that the parties have compromised the matter amicably with their free will and without any pressure from any corner.
Considering the report of Chief Judicial Magistrate dated 19.08.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in relations
-2CRM-M-27746 of 2017 between the parties, FIR No.0043 dated 10.04.2016 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station City Gurdaspur , is hereby quashed.
Petition is disposed of accordingly.
