**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) The present appeal has been filed by the appellant wife against the judgment and decree dated 13.02.2019 passed by the Additional District Judge, Sangrur vide which divorce was granted in favour of the respondent-husband in a petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act.

During pendency of the present appeal, in the execution of the recovery of arrears of maintenance, a settlement has been arrived at between the parties, wherein the appellant-wife got her statement recorded to the effect that she PRINCE SAINI 2023.09.18 18.09 I attest to the authenticity and integrity of this order/judgment



      


and her children are fully satisfied with the terms and conditions of the compromise. She has already received a cheque in a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- and has also handed over the keys of the house to the respondent-husband in terms of the compromise. After receipt of the amount of Rs.5,50,000/-, she has made the statement that her claim and the claim of the children are fully satisfied. She has accepted the decree of divorce and also agreed to withdraw the present appeal in the High Court. The photocopy of the statement of the appellant recorded by the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Sangrur on 25.04.2023 is taken on record. In view of compromise arrived at between the parties, learned counsel for the appellant wishes to withdraw the present appeal.

In view of statement made by the learned counsel for the appellant in the light of statement of the appellant made before the Family Court, this appeal is ordered to be dismissed as withdrawn. A copy of this order be communicated to the office of learned counsel for the respondent.
