Mr. K.P.S. Virk, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner and filed his power of attorney. Same is taken on record. 2.

At the outset, learned State counsel submits that out of 25 witnesses cited by the prosecution, 21 witnesses have been examined and the remaining 4 witnesses are summoned for 30.03.2024 by the learned trial Court. 3.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner has very fairly sought withdrawal of the present petition at this stage. 4.

However before parting, it is desired from the learned trial Court to consider expeditious disposal of the trial in accordance with law, considering that the petitioner is in custody since 06.06.2019. 5.

Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
