Ms. Samina Dhir, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. *** Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner has since joined the investigation and no recovery is being effected from him and further that he has surrendered his Passport before the investigating officer. This fact is conceded by learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Ashwani Kumar from Police Station Jamalpur, Ludhiana. He states that the petitioner is not required for further investigation.
Under such circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner on 28.8.2017 is made absolute, subject to his fulfilling conditions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
The petition stands allowed accordingly.
