The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction to the official respondents to provide adequate security to the petitioner in view of threat perception as mentioned in the email dated 26.02.2056 and 28.02.2026. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has sent e-mails dated 26.02.2026 and 28.02.2026 (Annexures P-5 and P-6, respectively) to the Security Wing of Punjab Police and the ADGP Security, respectively, however, no action has been taken thereon till date.

CRWP-2830-2026 (O&M) -2decide the e-mails dated 26.02.2026 and 28.02.2026 (Annexures P-5 and P6, respectively) qua the threat perception filed by the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and to grant immediate protection, if any threat to the life and liberty to the petitioner, is perceived. It is being clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner for legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by him. 6.
