....
Coram:
Hon'ble Mr. Justice Inderjit Singh .....
Present:
Mr. Harish Goyal, Advocate for the petitioner. .....
Inderjit Singh, J.
The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.43 dated 17.5.2016 registered for the offences under Sections 323, 324, 427, 148, 149, 326 and 452 IPC (Sections 326 and 452 IPC, which were added later on) at Police Station Raman, District Bathinda.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.
The present petitioner is stated to be armed with a `Kirpan' and he gave grievous injury on the arm of the complainant. The present petitioner is the main accused. He was armed with a deadly weapon. He is named in the FIR. He also took participation in the commission of the offence. The petitioner is required for custodial interrogation. The weapon is still to be recovered.

Cr. Misc. No.M-28691 of 2016 [2] Keeping in view the nature and gravity of the offences and in view of the fact that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation, the weapon is still to be recovered and he is the main accused, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioner is entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail.
Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
