Mr. Suneet Pal Singh Aulakh, Advocate for complainant. **** ALOK JAIN, J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.91 dated 29.03.2022, under Section 406, 498-A and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station City Kharar, District SAS Nagar. Vide order dated 26.04.2022, it was directed that no coercive step be taken against the petitioner and the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the Mediation had failed at the time of initial stage and the matter was referred back to the Court. However, subsequent thereto, the parties have entered into the compromise and have parted ways.

-22023:PHHC:052449 CRM-M-17023-2022 Mr. Suneet Pal Singh Aulakh, Advocate, has appeared on behalf of the complainant and concedes to the said position. Vide order dated 02.11.2022, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel, states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required. In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 02.11.2022 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
