RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 and 7. Learned State counsel filing reply in the shape of affidavit of Kamaljeet Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran, submits that petitioner No.1 gave statement to the police that she does not want any protection, whereas FIR has been registered against petitioner No.2 for solemnizing marriage with petitioner No.1, who was minor on the date of marriage.
In view of above, petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
