Mr. PS Ahluwalia, Advocate, for the petitioners Mr. C.S.Brar, DAG, Punjab, for the respondent Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) Mr. Ahluwalia has placed on record photostat copy of demand draft no. 191432 dated 15.10.2016 for a sum of Rs 10 lacs and submits that in compliance of order dated 20.9.2016, he has handed over the original of the same to MD, PUNSUP, which fact is not refuted by the learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jarnail Singh, Police Station Sadar, Patiala. It is also contended that in all out of the allegations of embezzlement of Rs 1,83,64,026/-, a sum of Rs 50 lacs has been paid and undertakes to pay the remaining balance amount, for which the petitioner has mortgaged his immovable property in favour of complainant-PUNSUP, which is also accepted by the State Government. In view of this bonafide conduct of the petitioners, order dated 20.9.2016 is made absolute on the same terms.
