ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.133 dated 19.09.2016 under Sections 457, 380 IPC registered at Police Station Ghall Khurd, District Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners were earlier in police custody for a period of 11⁄2 months in FIR No.151 dated 18.10.2016 under Sections 380, 382, 457 IPC and after their release on regular bail, they have been involved in FIR No.133 dated 19.09.2016. This Court vide order dated 02.08.2017 had directed the petitioners to join investigation and in the event of their arrest, they were ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Samraj Singh, states that in pursuance to the order dated 02.08.2017, the petitioners have joined investigation and are not required for custodial interrogation. CRM-M-27877-2017 -2In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of case, the order dated 02.08.2017, granting ad-interim bail to the petitioners, is hereby made absolute. However, the petitioners shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
