Gurnam Singh v. State Of Punjab And ORS.
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-28848 of 2018 Date of Decision: 12.07.2018 Gurnam Singh
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab and others ....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMENDRA JAIN Present: - Mr. Surinder Thakur, Advocate, for the petitioner. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of direction to official respondents to get enquired complaint No.962-SSP dated 01.03.2018 (Annexure P-1) from some independent agency.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, is directed to look into representation dated 18.04.2018 (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioner, in a time-bound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 18.04.2018 (Annexure P-2) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
