**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J This is a petition for directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to conclude the investigation and submit the report as the FIR was registered in 2011.

Report of the trial Court were called for which has been received. It was reported that challan was presented and one accused Jagdeep Singh was declared proclaimed offender and supplementary challan had now been filed and the file has been reconstructed as earlier the file had been lost.

State has filed the status report which is taken on record. As per the status report, they have also submitted copy of the MLR and the FSL report before the Court concerned.

State counsel informs that challan was presented and charges had been framed and some witnesses have been examined and the case is GURPREET SINGH 2018.10.16 16:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

Crl. Misc. No. M-27909 of 2017 -2now fixed for 19.11.2018 and 20.11.2018 for remaining prosecution evidence.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that some directions may be given to the Court below to decide the case within a time frame. Much time has been lost in reconstruction of the record. The trial Courts are alive to the fact that the old cases have to be decided on priority basis.

No directions are required to be passed.

The petition is disposed of.
