This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 31 dated 31.05.2015 under Sections 323, 324, 148 & 149 IPC and under section 326 IPC added later on at Police Station Behrampur, district Gurdaspur. Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Ashok Kumar, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated August 21, 2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated August 21, 2015 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
