**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Agyapal Singh, Police Station Ajnala, Amritsar, submits that matter was enquired into. During the course of enquiry, petitioner has suffered a statement that she is no more facing any threat to her life and liberty at the hands of respondent No.4. She further submits that in this view of the matter, present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of, as such.

Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner also fairly states that let the present petition be disposed of in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the State. In view of the above respective stands taken, present petition is disposed of, as having been rendered infructuous.
