The petitioner seeks grant of regular bail in respect of aforementioned FIR.

As per the case of prosecution, co-accused Rinku, son of the petitioner, had inflicted an injury with iron daah on the head of the complainant and thereafter, Resham Singh (petitioner) had inflicted a blow with iron Jhari (fry pan) on the back of the complainant.

On the other hand, while learned State counsel has opposed the petition, learned counsel representing the complainant submits that the complainant has no objection for grant of bail to the petitioner and has categorically stated that the matter stands amicably resolved. Learned State counsel has, however, informed that the petitioner as on date has been behind bars since the last 2 months & 11 days. 5.
Having regard to the aforestated position, wherein the matter is stated to have been compromised and the complainant has no objection for grant of bail to the petitioner and the petitioner otherwise has been behind bars since the last more than 2 months, further detention of the petitioner will not serve any useful purpose.
