MADAAN, J (ORAL) In pursuance of order dated 13.7.2018, a status report by way of affidavit dated 14.8.2018 of the Assistant Superintendent of Police, Derabassi, District SAS Nagar has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4 wherein it is stated that formal FIR No.299 dated 07.8.2018 for offences under Sections 420/406/494 IPC has since been registered at Police Station Zirakpur against Rajwinder Singh and the matter is being investigated.

In view of such averments, learned counsel for the petitioner having succeeded in getting the relief sought in the present petition, prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
