RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner Ramanpreet Singh alias Babbi in a case arising from FIR No.41 dated 17.05.2017 under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act registered at Police Station Longowal, District Sangrur.

Petitioner was granted ad-interim bail by this Court vide order dated 08.08.2017 as by that time the FSL report was not received. However, now the FSL report has been received, according to which the injection make BUPRENORPHINE INJECTION I.P. COPIGESIC falls under the definition of psychotropic substance. After arguing for some time, when the Bench was not agreeing with the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel prays that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
