ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.76 dated 23.04.2017 registered under Sections 379-B, 506 read with Section 34 IPC and 25 and 27 of the Arms Act at Police Station Kotwali, District Bathinda.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the orders dated 01.09.2017 and 09.02.2018, the petitioner has already appeared before the Investigating Officer and joined the investigation. Counsel for the State, on instructions from HC Chamkaur Singh, has not disputed the factual position and states that the petitioner is no more required for any further investigation. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 01.09.2017 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
