In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No. 3 to 6, who are time and again harassing the petitioner by taking him into their illegal custody and threatening him to implicate in some false criminal case. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, is directed to decide the representation dated 27.07.2017 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioner. 3.
In view of the above, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, is directed to look into the matter and decide the representation dated 27.07.2017 (Annexure P-3), moved by the petitioner in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to him, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
