This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for giving the directions to the official respondents to submit the cancellation report before the competent Court of jurisdiction for its acceptance or passing an appropriate order according to law. Notice of motion was issued in this case.
Ms. Shivali, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this petition.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab and have gone through the record.
Learned counsel for the petitioners at the time of arguments restricted her prayer that direction be given to the respondents to expedite Harpal Singh Parmar 2016.12.06 10:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
Cr. Misc. No.M-29004 of 2016 [2] the investigation and present the final report. As the FIR in the present case had been registered on 29.12.2015 and final report has not been presented so far, therefore, the respondents are directed to expedite the completion of the investigation and to present the final report before the Court at the earliest. With these directions, the present petition is disposed. November 30, 2016.
