Prayer in this petition is for quashing FIR No.77 dated 06.05.2018, registered under Section 306 IPC, at Police Station Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur, along with all the other proceedings arising therefrom.

Reply by way of an affidavit dated 28.04.2019 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur, filed on behalf of the respondent-State, in the Registry, is taken on record. At the outset, learned State counsel, on the instructions from ASI Mohinder Singh, submits that in the present case, a cancellation report has already been filed before the Court concerned on 25.07.2019 and the same is pending consideration.

Since the cancellation report has already been filed before the Court concerned and the same is pending consideration, no further orders are called for.
