*** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for the post of Clerk against the post reserved for the eligible sports person. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner applied for the post of clerk and at the time of scrutiny of documents, her candidature was orally rejected on the ground that her sports gradation certificate was as per 1993 policy and ought to have been as per new policy. Petitioner pleads that in the advertisement, no such condition/requirement of producing certificate as per fresh policy was mentioned. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has sports gradation certificate in accordance with the instructions dated 30.11.1993.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and strenuously opposes the writ petition. He submits that claim of the petitioner is covered against her keeping in view the judgment of a Division Bench of this Court in LPA No.1332-2019.
