**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 51 dated 11.06.2017 under Sections 498-A/ 406 IPC, registered at Police Station Women Cell, Ludhiana.

This Court was pleased to grant interim bail to the petitioner vide order 03.08.2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and after completion of investigation challan has been presented and the charges have been framed. Consequently, it is argued that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner has been released on regular bail by the trial Court.
