(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.140 dated 23.8.2023 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 376 and 506 IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act, registered at Police Station Shahkot, District Jalandhar Rural.

Learned State counsel, assisted by ASI Parminder Singh, refers the G.D. No.031 dated 20.10.2023 and submits that vide this G.D., the sections, mentioned in the FIR in questions, have been converted into Sections 376-AB, 354, 354-A IPC and Section 10 of POCSO Act. Therefore, the sections mentioned in the body of the present petition are incorrect. Copy of the said G.D. is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to the counsel opposite.
