RAJIVE BHALLA, J (Oral) The appellant challenges judgment and decree dated 02.03.2001, rejecting his prayer for grant of a decree of divorce. The Lok Adalat recorded the following order on 04.10.2002:- "In response to the notice sent to the appellant, appellant has sent a copy of judgment dated 14.12.2001 passed by ADJ, Gurdaspur, vide which the parties have settled their claim and decree of divorce by dissolving his marriage with respondent by way of mutual consent under section 13B of Hindu Marriage Act, has been passed.

In view of the same, since the matter in dispute stands settled between the parties, the appeal is sent back to registry for appropriate orders."

A perusal of the order reveals that parties have been granted a decree of divorce by mutual consent, on 14.12.2001 by the Additional District NARESH KUMAR 2016.01.05 14:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
