Present revision petition has been preferred against order dated 24.09.1996 passed by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karnal discharging the accused for offence under section 29 of the Insecticides Act.

The alleged offence was committed in the year 1989. On due consideration of the matter and relying upon judgment of the apex court in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 1128 of 1986 titled as Common cause registered Society vs. Union of India & ors., trial court discharged the accused. Alleged occurrence took place about twenty seven years back. Respondents remain unrepresented. It appears further adjudication of the matter shall not serve any purpose. No interference is called for in revisional jurisdiction. Dismissed.
