This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 141 dated 26.07.2015 under Section 24 of the Immigration Act, 1983 at Police Station Navi Baradari, Jalandhar. Allegation is that petitioner took an amount of `4.00 lacs from the complainant for sending him abroad. On reaching Singapore, complainant came to know that his visa was not genuine. He was, thus, detained in custody for one day, thereafter deported to India.

Keeping in view nature of allegations, I am of the considered view that petitioner is not entitled to pre-arrest bail. Dismissed.
