**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of Mandamus, for directing the respondent to release truck bearing No. PB-46M-7043 along with goods to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that during the pendency of the writ petition, the vehicle i.e. truck bearing No. PB-46M-7043 along with goods has been released to the petitioner. In support of the aforesaid contention, a short affidavit of Sh. Ominder Singh Sidhu s/o Sh. Harnek Singh, Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Mobile Wing, Patiala-2 at Shambhu, District Patiala, Punjab, has been filed by the learned State counsel in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

In view thereof, it was prayed that, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 4.
