(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing at length and looking to the generality of the allegations made in the writ petition without specific admission, prays for withdrawal thereof with liberty to pursue his complaints/representations dated 09.08.2021 (Annexure P-3) and 19.03.2022 (Annexure P-7) with the respondent-authorities. Mr. Arjun Sheoran, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, submits that in case the petitioner does approach the respondent-authorities, they would look into the matter and take steps in accordance with law. In view of the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the statement of learned State counsel, the writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter take steps in accordance with law.
