SSP Patiala and another .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.ADS Jattana,Advocate for the petitioners Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for seeking protection to life and liberty of both the petitioners, who are stated to be major in age and have performed inter caste marriage against the wishes of mother/maternal uncles of petitioner no.1-wife. They apprehend threat to their life at their hands. It is further stated that the couple is residing at H.No.1002, Old Bishan Nagar, Patiala whereas the mother and paternal uncles of petitioner no.1 are residing at # 15, 2A-Street, Gurbax Colony,Patiala.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and keeping in view the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lata Singh v. State of U.P. And another, JT 2006(6) SC 173, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioners to present themselves before SSP, Patiala, who shall take appropriate RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.08.24 16:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.
