The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to conduct fair and impartial investigation of murder of husband of the petitioner. 2.

None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner for the last two dates of hearing.

The learned counsel for the State, while referring to the reply dated 13.09.2022, contends that during the course of the inquiry, respondent No.5, against whom the allegations have been levelled, was joined and his statement was recorded on 10.12.2021. His involvement was not found in the commission of the alleged offence. The opinion regarding the cause of death was obtained, and it was found that the possibility of the injuries, as mentioned in the PMR, would have been caused due to falling from the stairs.
