Through this criminal writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ especially in the nature of Habeaus Corpus, for release of detenue, namely; Tanu Garg, daughter of petitioner from the illegal confinement of respondents No. 4 to 6.
Heard.
According to reply filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Pal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kharar, District SAS Nagar Mohali, alleged detenue-Tanu Garg, major girl of petitioner has solemnized marriage with respondent No. 4-Ajay, with her own free will and consent, therefore, no question arises of her illegal custody with private respondents.
In view of the above, instant petition, being meritless, is dismissed.
