******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Petitioner filed this petition seeking direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to carry out fair and impartial investigation in case bearing FIR No.101 dated 23.07.2019 registered at Police Station Ajnala (Amritsar) for the offence punishable under Section 420, 120-B of Indian Penal Code (for short-IPC).

As per the status report, the police added offence punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471 IPC and presented challan. Trial is now pending before learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ajnala (Amritsar). Accused Harpartap Singh and Gurpartap Singh could not be arrested and proceedings to declare them as proclaimed offenders were initiated. As and when they are arrested, their supplementary challan under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C. will be presented.

In view of reply filed by the State, no further action is required to be taken in this petition. The same is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail other legal remedies available to him regarding accused named in the FIR, who have been found innocent.
