M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) Petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C., for exercising inherent jurisdiction to issue direction to respondent Nos.1 & 2 to take action against the private respondent Nos.4 to 10 and to arrest them.

After hearing the counsel for the petitioner, it is apparent that the petitioner had earlier also approached this Court for similar direction. The said petition was decided on 4.2.2015 with an observation that since the reinvestigation was going on, the directions to arrest private respondents could not be issued. It was ordered that let the police complete investigation and submit appropriate report before the Illaqua Magistrate concerned. The petitioner being a complainant-victim claims that he is not aware of the steps taken towards reinvestigation after presentation of cancellation report earlier.

CRM-M-28371-2015 (O&M) The petitioner claims that he has submitted a representation to the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, in this context.

Since in the exercise of inherent jurisdiction, I do not find is appropriate to interfere in the investigation or further investigation but taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner claims himself to be a victim and the State authorities are required to proceed in accordance with procedure of law, so far as investigation is concerned, in context to Chapter XII of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Punjab Police Rules, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the application of the petitioner Annexure P4, will be considered and would be disposed of within a period of two months after the receipt of a copy of this order and the petitioner would be made known about its result.
