The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C/Section 528 BNSS has been filed for seeking direction to respondents No.2 and 4, to make security arrangements to escort the petitioner, who is a Practicing Advocate to enable him to cast his Vote in Elections of Punjab and Haryana Bar Council Scheduled to be held on 18.03.2026.

Learned State counsel has filed the status report today in Court, which is taken on record and has submitted that adequate security was granted to petitioner to enable him to cast vote, but he did not go to cast his vote. 3.

In view of the submission made by the learned State counsel, the present petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. 4.
