(Presence marked through video conference) ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.51 dated 17.05.2020 registered under Sections 304, 341, 148, 149 of IPC, Police Station Sadar, Faridkot.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 16.06.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel does not controvert the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He submits that, per his instructions from ASI Gulab Singh, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required as challan has already been filed.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 16.06.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
